5.2 Acres LEED Gold certified
This project consists of a highway bridge structure creating a tunnel below for traffic and a plaza above for the creation of 5.2 acre deck park. The park will create an urban green space over the existing Woodall Rodgers Freeway. This will become the City of Dallas' Central Park - a destination as well as a connection of all the thriving growth in and around downtown. This will integrate the Arts District, Uptown, Victory Park and the West End. Plans include a performance pavilion, restaurant, walking trails, children's garden and playground, a dog park and water features.
